Liverpool teammates Senegal forward Sadio Mane and Egypt forward Mohamed Salah went face to face as the former eventually became the hero in the match, making amends for his early penalty miss in the match by netting the decisive kick which crowned Senegal champions of Africa in Cameroon.
Salah was left dejected as he didn't get the opportunity to take a penalty for the Pharoahs as his country fell to the Teranga Lions in the final.
