Uefa Champions League: Bayern Munich 5-2 Benfica - Lewandowski mark 100th game with hat-trick
German giants Bayern Munich made light work of Benfica in their Uefa Champions League Group E second leg encounter at the Allianz Arena, Munich, Germany.

The Bavarians breezed through their Portuguese visitors 5-2 with Polish goal machine Robert Lewandowski marking his 100th Champions League game with a beautiful hat-trick.
With this outcome, Bayern Munich have scaled though into the knockout stages of the tournament.
Lewandowski opened scoring in the 26th minute heading in Kingsley Conan's cross, and went ahead to assist Serge Gnabry with backheel pass to make it two for the hosts in the 32nd minute.
Former Manchester City star Leroy Sane made it three for Bayern in the 49th minute and Lewandowski sealed victory with the fourth and fifth goals in the 41st and 84th minutes respectively.

Benfica fought and pull two goals back through Rodrigues da Silva in the 38th minute and Núñes in the 74th minute.
According to bbcsport:
Poland striker Lewandowski has now scored 81 Champions League goals - including four hat-tricks - in his 100 appearances.
He has scored 22 goals in 18 games for Bayern this season - including eight in four in the Champions League.
No other player has scored more goals after 100 Champions League games than Robert Lewandowski ⬇️
