Manchester United appoint Ralf Rangnick as interim manager
Manchester United have appointed Ralf Rangnick as their interim manager until the end of the 2021/22 season, subject to work visa requirement.

Rangnick, 63, takes over from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who was relieved of his managerial position following Manchester United's 4-1 loss to Watford at the Vicarage Road.
The German football manager has left his role at Russian club Locomotiv Moscow as head of sports and development to take up the job at the Old Trafford.
Rangnick said: "I am excited to be joining Manchester United and focused on making this a successful season."
He will stay on at the Theatre of Dreams for an additional two years in a consultancy role after the end of the season.

Rangnick further added: "The squad is full of talent and has a great balance of youth and experience.
"All my efforts for the next six months will be on helping these players fulfil their potential, both individually and, most importantly, as a team.
"Beyond that, I look forward to supporting the club's longer-term goals on a consultancy basis."
