2022 World Cup Play-offs: 'The main goal is to qualify' but 'there will be no easy game for Nigeria - Lawal
Garba Lawal, ex Nigeria left midfielder, has advised that the Super Eagles should anticipate a hard draw in the final play-off of the 2022 Fifa World Cup Qualification.

In the final qualifier at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Nigeria drew 1-1 with Cape Verde, a result which placed the Super Eagles as winners of Group C, also qualify for the play-off.
A total of ten teams scaled through for the play-offs including Nigeria. The other nine teams are: Senegal, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Cameroon, Mali, Ghana and Democratic Republic of Congo.
Garba Lawal, in an interview with kingfut.com, said: “The fans are not satisfied with the current generation, we have a lot of good players that play in Europe, our main goal is to qualify to the World Cup."
He further said: “There will be no easy games in the last stage of the World Cup qualifications, small teams have knocked out stronger ones before.”
