Lionel Messi: PSG Manager Pochettino says knee injury was the reason for substitution
Mauricio Pochettino, Manager of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has disclosed that an injury was the reason he substituted Argentine forward Lionel Messi during their victory over Olympique Lyonnais on Sunday.

Pochettino said Messi had taken a knock to his left knee as the player looked unhappy at being replaced.
"Leo was looking at his knee", Pochettino said.
"We are pleased with the way he played. He played very well in the first half, and the only thing missing was a goal. He played for 76 minutes and, with all the information we had, we decided to take him off.

"Of course I understand the situation and I accept it as it is."
PSG's 2-1 win over Lyon was Messi's third since joining the French side as a free agent from Spanish top flight club Barcelona. It's also Messi's first at the Parc des Princes
