The 77th Session of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly (UNGA 77) has kicked off at the United Nations (UN) Headquarters in New York City, United States (US). It will run from 13-27 September 2022, however, the first day of the high-level General Debate will be Tuesday, 20 September 2022.
Several topics are on the agenda and will be discussed about, from Education transformation to Security and global food crisis, Ukraine war and more.
On transforming education system, the UN on its official Twitter account said: "At a time of rampant misinformation, climate denial & attacks on human rights, we need education systems that distinguish fact from conspiracy, instill respect for science and celebrate humanity in all it's diversity."
