English side Chelsea were forced to work very hard for all three points against Swedish hosts Malmo in their Uefa Champions League group stage second-leg clash in Eleda Stadion, Malmo, Sweden.

Moroccan midfielder Hakim Ziyech netted the only goal that earned the Blues the win.

Thomas Tuchel's side's Champions League trip to Sweden came without Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku and German forward Timo Werner, however, American midfielder Christian Pulisic was back on the bench.

Chelsea heavily dominated the clash, controlling more than 65%  of possession, however, lacked the required firepower to net more goals.
