Solskjaer Replacement: Manchester United heighten efforts with Zidane
According to The Sunday Times (h/t Daily Mail), Manchester United are looking to convince Zinedine Zidane to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils’ form has been on a decline in the past few weeks and their losses against rivals Liverpool and Manchester City have added pressure on Solskjaer. United suffered a humiliating 2-0 loss to their neighbours while they were thumped 5-0 by The Reds fortnight ago.
United are currently languishing in sixth on the table, nine points behind league leader Chelsea and five points behind fourth spot.
Zidane, 49, has been out of work since walking away from Real Madrid for a second time at the end of last season. The Frenchman’s record at Madrid is as impressive as one can ask for. He won three Champions Leagues and two LA Liga titles as a head coach during his two tenures with the Spanish giants.

Not to forget he also won a Champions League title with them as an assistant coach. The living legend also worked with two of Man United’s star signings this summer, Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo, during his team at Santiago Bernabeu and his relationship with the duo could be a factor in negotiations.
However, the report also states that the World Cup winner is unsure about taking the United job.
Meanwhile, the likes of Brendan Rodgers, Mauricio Pochettino and Erik ten Hag have also been linked if United are to fire Ole Gunnar.Weallfollowunited.com
